Drink To The Health Of Your Valentine With These Indulgent Shakes

Sunday is Valentine’s Day! And you want your Valentine to live forever right? I thought so. Me too.

While I can’t change mortality, I can share with you these six recipes that taste like indulgent milkshakes but are actually packed full of superfoods that will help you and your honey feel healthy. And the healthier you feel, the more adventures you can have together! If we can’t live forever, we should at least pack as many adventures as we can into the years we do have.

My Valentine’s Day advice? Instead of (or in addition to) a box of chocolates, make someone a shake, tell them you love them and you want them to stick around for years to come, and plan an adventure.

All the recipes have the same method: Put all ingredients in the blender. Blend until smooth.

If you don’t have a blender, skip the ice and shake by hand. These all taste better in the blender though, so if you’ve got one, use it.

Each recipe makes two shakes so that you can share with someone you love. Just up the quantities of everything to share the love with the whole family!

2 cups frozen strawberries

2 scoops vanilla superfoods protein powder

2 cups unsweetened almond milk

Frozen Blueberry Latte

1 cup blueberries

2 scoops coffee superfoods protein powder

2 cups cold water

2 cups ice

Mochaccino For 2

2 scoops chocolate superfoods protein powder

2 cups chilled coffee

2 cups coffee ice cubes (put chilled coffee in your ice cube tray and freeze ahead of time)

Bananas Foster

2 scoops vanilla superfoods protein powder

2 frozen bananas

2 tsp. rum extract

2 tsp. cinnamon

2 cups milk


2 scoops cafe latte superfoods protein powder

1 tsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa

1 tsp. rum extract

2 Tbsp. ricotta cheese

2 cups water

2 cups ice

Wine Slushie Substitute

2 scoops vanilla superfoods protein powder

2 cups frozen red grapes

1 tsp. rum extract

1 cup 100% grape juice

1 cup water
