Fundraised and Fundraising

My Team Challenge 2014 fundraiser is officially complete! With the help of friends and family, I raised $3,063 for Team Challenge for Crohn’s and Colitis. That’s $3,063 closer to cures for Crohn’s and colitis.

Let’s recap how we got here:

26 individual donors donated a total of $1308.30, an average donation of $50.

Run Gutsy Christmas ornament sale brought in $210 and put our cause on Christmas trees throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio.

Sheila Squillante, Jean O’Neill, and I read at Run Gutsy, raised $100, and shared our cause with a new audience at East End Book Exchange.

Kevin matched $200 worth of donations for $13 on the 13th, which brought in $419.30 total.

Pittsburgh Happy Hour and Pittsburgh Social Club co-hosted happy hour at Social with me, where we ate, drank, and raised $535.

I sold and baked key lime, cheesecake, and peanut butter pies, and raised $240.

My teammate Will donated $150 from his fundraiser Scoops for CCFA through my page.

I plastered my Facebook wall with photos of cats talking about Crohn’s and colitis for World IBD Day, shared lots of facts about IBD, and raised $100.

It’s been a fun season and certainly a challenge!! I can’t wait to run the half marathon in Chicago on Saturday. Thank you ALL for your support.

If you didn’t donate and had planned to, never fear! My AMAZING brother Ryan is still fundraising for CCFA. He’s doing an awesome job and I know he’d appreciate your support! He’ll be running in Napa in July. Here is his fundraising page: http://www.active.com/donate/napaNCASBPA14/RHutton I hope you’ll check it out. All the funds go to the same great organization: The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

THANK YOU!
